Lenovo has launched two new smartphones in India, under its fan-favourite Moto G series. The newly launched smartphones, the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus, will be available exclusively via Amazon India. The Moto G4 Plus has been priced at INR 13,499 [2GB RAM/16GB internal storage] and INR 14,499 [3GB RAM/32 GB internal storage]. Both smartphones come in Black and White colour options. The price and availability details of Moto G4 have not been revealed as yet.
The Lenovo Moto G4 Plus measures 153 x 76.6 x 7.9 mm and weighs only 155 grams. It sports a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with a Full HD [1080 x 1920 pixels] resolution and a pixel density of 401ppi. It also features a fingerprint scanner below the screen. The new smartphone is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor along with 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB, via a micro SD card. There is also a 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant option along with 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage one. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
The Motorola Moto G4 Plus sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture, and an OmniVision PureCell Plus sensor with 1.3µm pixels. It also features a 5-megapixel front facing camera with 84-degree wide-angle lens. Connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, and 4G. The dual SIM [GSM + GSM] smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery. It comes with a Turbo Charger too. Other features include a Proximity sensor, an Ambient light sensor, and an Accelerometer.
On the other hand, the Lenovo Moto G4 features mostly similar specifications, however, it is missing a fingerprint scanner and the Turbo charger. Also, the Moto G4 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Camera features include Full HD 1080p video recording capabilities. What do you think about this device?
