Offer Your AdWords Account Number To the Account Manager
The first step to link your existing account with MCC is to provide the 10-digit AdWords account number(Customer ID) to your account manager. But you should make sure that you do not give your AdWords account number to anyone else, at least not immediately. Before even considering to offer the account number to a potential account manager or agency, you need to make sure that you had some meaningful conversations with them.
You should never ever give the details to anyone through an online forum. You must know that Google never asks for any account number, even if what you are working with looks like the official Gmail. In case they want you to provide the account number, then you can be sure that it’s not the real Google.
However, you can find the 10 digit AdWords account number at the top-right corner of your AdWords account.
Getting Invitation From AdWords Account Manager
Once you have provided the account number to the right person, your account manager will send you an invitation to become a part of their MCC. After he/she decides that to whom they should invite to join the MCC, he/she can simply complete the invitation process by clicking few options. Then you will receive the invitation directly into your AdWords account from Google.
Accepting the Invitation
You need to start by locating the option that looks like a tiny gear in the top-right corner of the page in order to see the invitation. Clicking the gear icon will be provide a drop-down menu containing different options. Just click on the Account settings.
Now, select the “Account access” option located on the top-left corner of your screen. This will lead you to a page that looks like this.
Here in the “Client managers” option, the marked box on the bottom right corner of the image above will show “Accept invitation”. Just click on it to provide access of the AdWords account to your AdWords account manager. I can understand that it may seem complicated, but trust me it is actually rather easy.

The answer is simply the control. When an account administrator offers access to a manager through the My Client Center, he/she will get complete control over your account.
