There might be time when you’re busy in making a presentation for your company or college assignment but don’t know how to insert a live web page in your presentation slide. But PowerPoint LiveWeb, an add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint can do your job. This tool integrates any web page in specified slide of your presentation. More over, the web page remains live which means that any changes on the page by the source website will be reflected in your slide.
This add-in could be handy for those who want to take references from web pages as complement for demonstrating the presentation. This is helpful especially to make evident of any web based application or showing the content of a web page.
Installing the PowerPoint LiveWeb add-in
1. Download PowerPoint LiveWeb add-in matching with the version of your Office suite.
2. Once you downloaded the file, extract it and run the add-in.
It will open the PowerPoint automatically and a new group, named as LiveWeb will be added under the Insert tab.
How to add a web page in the slide
Go to the slide where you want to add the web page from the navigation bar of your Presentation window and click on Insert > WebPage to start the LiveWeb wizard. The self instructing wizard will guide you to add some important information in purpose of inserting the web page.
The first step asks to provide the complete URL of the page that you like to insert. Once the URL is added, simply click Next to go in the next step.
In this step, you have the choice of selecting whether you want to remain updated with the web page or not. Enable or disable the option to refresh web page automatically and click on Next.
This step involves you in entering the size and position of the web page. Put the size in percentage and select the position from the drop down menu and then click Next to continue.
This is the last step where you can select to run the slideshow after finishing the wizard. Select the option if you like and click on Finish.

Note: When I was in college and was to prepare the presentation for my minor project of the exam assignment, I needed to insert a live web page in the presentation. Unfortunately, I was not aware of this handy PowerPoint add-in at that time.
