Increase Browsing Speed In Windows XP

If you are so frustrated by the slow performance of Windows XP then increase your XP speed by a simple tweak. Actually by default settings windows XP scan shared file for schedule task and enable printers on the network computer. For this reason it delay 30 second  when you want to view shared files through the network. Windows XP takes this extra time to search the remote computer for scheduled task.

Now I’ll discuss how to increase your browsing speed in  XP without installing any software. If you apply this tricks such that Windows XP does not  search the schedule task any time, then  the browsing speed of internet explorer and windows explorer will be increased.

Steps to increase your browsing speed in Windows XP

We always recommend to keep backup of your registry whenever you are going to edit the registry.

1. Go to Start menu and run  “regedit” to open the registry.

2.Go to  HKEY_LOCAL_MECHINE/ Software / Microsoft / Windows / Current Version / Explorer / Remote Computer / Name Space.

3. Under “name space” option select the key  D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF  and delete it.

Now your Windows XP does not search any schedule task and your windows explorer and internet explorer browsing speed is increased.

    Just saying thanks for this post I have followed it but cant locate the file however I did find some stuff that I thought I got rid off things like old web browsers ect so I got rid of them whgich is good cheers again Ben
