If you’ve downloaded Office 2010 trial version then that must expire after using one month. But we found some way to extend the trial period up to six months( 180 days). Read how to extend Windows 7 trial period up to one year.

The procedure is nothing but an Office command, OSPPREARM which is located in Windows Program Files drive. By running the command for one time you will be able to extend Office 2010 trial period to another 30 days. By this way you can prolong the trial period total five times. That means your trial period can be extended up to six months including the initial 30 days.

How to extend the Office 2010 Trial period

1. Go to Start > All Program > Accessories and right click on “Command Prompt” then click on “Run as administrator”. Alternatively you can run Command Prompt as administrator by typing “cmd” in the start menu search box and pressing Shift + Ctrl + Enter.

2. Now your task is about to run the OSPPREARM tool located in

%system drive%:Program FilesCommon Filesmicrosoft sharedOfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform

.
Generally your system drive is C. Also note that if you installed 32-bit Office 2010 in 64 bit Windows then the tool OSPPREARM resides in

%system drive%:Program Files (x86)Common Filesmicrosoft sharedOfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform.

So type the above full path of the tool OSPPREARM.exe in the command prompt and hit enter. Your command should look like

C:Program FilesCommon Filesmicrosoft sharedOfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatformOSPPREARM.exe

You are done! But remind that you can apply this trick only for five times. If you run the above command for the sixth time you will get an error message like this

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appeal. I must say that you’ve done a superb job with this. Also, the blog loads very fast for me on Safari. Outstanding Blog!

The file is not on my drive ANYWHERE. I enabled hidden and system files, so this info is not correct for all uses. Maybe MicroSoft erased the file with a patch because of this.
